Most standards based videoconferencing systems will work with the Video Portal network, whether they are PC, room-based or roll-about systems.

• The standards supported by the video Portal are H.323, H.321 and H.320. Calling speeds at up to HD quality.

For H.323 videoconferencing you must follow the Video Portal guidelines for your local network to ensure proper connectivity and interoperability with the Video Portal and the Verizon/ANJ network. For more recommendations for H.323 (IP) based conference.

For H.321 videoconferencing if you have a PC based system it must have an integrated ATM NIC card. If you have a stand-alone codec, you must have an integrated ATM V-Room.

For H.320 videoconferencing, ISDN users will be responsible for dial access charges to the nearest Video Portal on-ramp. In most cases, the Video Portal can provide local ISDN dialing in your LATA avoiding costly long distance ISDN dialing.

Web conferencing using your computer and our  web conferencing portal. Connect multipoint, using your Windows, Macintosh, or Linux computer. All you need is a webcam and a headset.

Registration: A Verizon ANJ Video Portal Registration form needs to be submitted  before using the Video Portal. This is required for all users of portal services.
